About Saada

Saada Labs LLC is an independent software studio. It builds around one thesis: that most software collects more than it needs, and says less about that than it should — and that the alternative is not a slogan, but a habit visible in what a piece of software actually holds.

The studio's one idea is the ledger on the home page. Instead of describing privacy in the abstract, it names — in the same weight as everything it gets right — the places the work falls short of that thesis: an account that is required, or data that does sit on a server. The wins are easy to typeset. The exceptions are the reason the ledger is worth reading.
